Whenever Jenny posed questions about the situation, the rescue service simply brushed them aside, assuring her that they were doing everything possible to rescue her horse because “everyone will benefit from it.” Instead of providing answers, they only left her with more questions. Jessy found herself increasingly overwhelmed by the secrecy surrounding the situation. Why was everyone being so cryptic? She couldn’t comprehend what was unfolding and began feeling increasingly anxious about the situation.
Why did her horse hold such significance to them? What information were they privy to that she wasn’t? Jessy felt utterly bewildered, yet no one seemed willing to address her inquiries. She grappled with a sense of powerlessness, desperate for clarity. The deliberate withholding of information by everyone involved left her deeply frustrated. Although she longed to contribute to unraveling the mystery, she felt completely adrift. In that moment, Jessy realized there was far more to her horse than she had initially presumed.
