Facing Dereck
Michael cautiously greeted everyone with a less confident “Um… hi there.” Dereck remained silent, steadily advancing toward Mike while keeping a watchful hand near his weapon. After a prolonged pause, Dereck finally spoke, his tone laced with an undercurrent of menace. “So, you’re the one lurking around this ship, huh? You have absolutely no clue what you’ve gotten yourself into, do you?” Dereck’s intimidating presence overwhelmed Mike, causing him to feel such intense distress that he came close to vomiting.
