Papillon
Despite their small size and elegant appearance, Papillons are highly intelligent and active dogs. They are named for their butterfly-like ears (“Papillon” is French for “butterfly”). Papillons are known to be very attentive and they excel at obedience and agility competitions. They are friendly, outgoing, and get along well with other animals. Despite their delicate appearance, they are sturdy dogs and love to play and run. They require regular mental stimulation and exercise, but their small size makes them suitable for apartment living.
