When Sarah Palin, once the governor of Alaska, rose to prominence, her appearance quickly became part of her public image. It’s not every day a politician can also claim experience in modeling, so it’s no surprise she’s typically seen wearing makeup.
There is one obvious exception, though—when she’s exercising. As most people know, working out and wearing cosmetics don’t mix well. Photographers once captured Palin leaving a gym bare-faced in her newer home state of Arizona. It’s a bit of a pattern—she seems to favor states that start with “A.”
