The entire neighborhood recognized Jake, or at least knew him as the guy with the German Shepherds.
When Jake first moved onto the street, many neighbors thought he was just a meticulous guy who enjoyed his routine. They didn’t think much more of it. However, his immediate neighbor, Mrs. Goodheart, was not so easily deceived.
