Cora felt surprised when the flight attendant approached her with a tone that seemed somewhat patronizing. The words, “Ma’am, we seem to have a slight issue,” hung in the air, causing a crease to form on Cora’s brow. Trying to keep her calm, she sought clarification by asking, “Is this seat 3D?”
After a brief glance at the seat number, the flight attendant affirmed, “Yes, this is seat 3D.” This reply left Cora thoroughly perplexed, as her boarding pass clearly stated that seat 3D was her assigned location.
