MacKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett – Together Since 2021
MacKenzie was once married to Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, for a quarter of a century, and they share four children. In 2019, they decided to part ways, but managed to maintain a friendly rapport post-separation.
When MacKenzie wed Dan Jewett, a respected science teacher from Seattle, in 2021, Bezos expressed his happiness for the couple. Even though MacKenzie received a 4% share in Amazon after the divorce, Jewett remained unfazed by the wealth.
From her divorce settlement, MacKenzie generously donated $4.2 billion of her $38.3 billion to 384 charities. Similarly, Jewett is on his way to contributing over half of his wealth to charitable endeavors. Their philanthropic efforts truly highlight their commendable character.
