Niecy Nash and Jessica Bette – Together Since 2020
Niecy exchanged vows with the “Catch Me” singer in a private Californian ceremony in August 2020. They shared a long relationship before making the commitment. Niecy fondly recalls an unexpected romantic moment they shared over crabs and wine, where they began to see each other in a new light.
On her appearance at Red Table Talk, Niecy shared her experience of being with a woman for the first time in this relationship. The two first connected on social media back in 2015, when Nash came across a clip of Betts singing in the documentary “The Same Difference” and felt an immediate attraction.
Initially, Niecy was unsure about progressing the relationship, fearing it might strain their existing friendship. However, she eventually embraced the romance. Their nuptial news took many by surprise when Nash announced their backyard wedding on Instagram on August 31.
