Clarissa Ward and Philipp Von Bernstorff – Together Since 2016
Clarissa Ward, CNN’s chief international correspondent based in London, is married to Philipp von Bernstorff, a businessman and German Count. The couple currently calls London home and are parents to two sons, Ezra Albrecht Nikolas Nour and Caspar Hugo Augustus Idris von Bernstorff.
The two exchanged vows in November 2016 at the Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. Their paths first crossed at a dinner event in Moscow, Russia. Despite an initial misunderstanding, with Von Bernstorff expressing skepticism about war correspondents, they quickly grew close. Ward, a Yale graduate, initiated her journalism journey at Fox News. Over the years, her impressive coverage as a war correspondent has garnered her significant recognition and acclaim. Well done to her!
