As all the guests settled into their seats in the altar room, Larry stood nervously on the stage, his attention seemingly elsewhere. With all eyes on him, a noticeable number of seats remained vacant as the ceremony was on the brink of commencement, prompting murmurs among the other guests.
Barbara alone knew for whom those seats had been reserved, but now was not the time for explanations. The matter would need to wait, and if the mysterious guests did arrive, their presence would hopefully elucidate the situation.
