Was he clueless?
She found herself puzzled by his apparent lack of awareness, particularly considering his close relationship with his mother, who could have easily informed him of the situation. His calm and normal demeanor in light of the matter surprised her. It baffled her why his mother hadn’t mentioned it to him, given their supposed closeness. It was a complete mystery to her why he seemed oblivious to the whole thing. Or was he truly unaware? Could it be possible that he somehow already knew about her plan? She was perplexed by his apparent lack of knowledge and couldn’t help but wonder if he was genuinely clueless or if he might have had some inkling beforehand.
